Lockheed to Lay Off 241 Workers in California and Louisiana

Lockheed Martin will cut 160 positions New Orleans, La., effective on Aug. 26, 2011.  It also plans to lay off 81 workers in Santa Maria, Calif.  The layoffs are in Santa Maria, Calif., due to the end of a contract to provide equipment to the U.S. Air Force.
