Memorial Health to Lay off 228 Workers in Georgia

Memorial University Medical Center is laying off 228 workers in Savannah, Ga., as part of a reorganization.

Memorial University Medical Center said that the layoffs are due to the transfer of management and operations of its revenue cycle departments to Conifer Health Solutions Inc.

Memorial University Medical Center is an award-winning 530-bed academic medical center that serves a 35-county area in southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina.
